What you’ll do:

• Engineering Drawing Updates - perform drawing updates and check all technical information on existing production drawings (dimensions, tolerance, material, added views)

• New Drawing Creation - create production level drawings for new Lime components using existing templates and drawing standards

• BOM Review and Update - evaluate legacy BOM structure and drawing packages for adherence to current drawing standards and update as needed. (To be done for previous generation ebike and escooter)

• Label Drawings - create all new drawings and establish standards for applied labels

• ECO creation - build and release Engineering Change Orders to update drawings and BOMs

About you:

• Drawing Standards Knowledge - strong working knowledge of ANSI Y14.5; knowledge of ISO and GBT, and differences to ANSI is preferred

• PLM / Change Management - understand product lifecycle and change management processes (revision control, change impact, assembly vs. part drawings)

• Tolerance Analysis - ability to perform basic tolerance analysis

• MCAD and PLM environment - expert in Solidworks drawing creation, familiar with Arena PLM

• Manufacturing Process - basic knowledge in metal forming, plastic injection, and assembly processes. Ability to sanity check fabrication notes for relevance.

• Ability to meet live with the development team in San Francisco 2-3 times per week. Schedule is flexible but regular in person reviews are expected.

Preferred Experience

• +5 years of drafting and design experience.
