As a Global Sourcing Services Leader at Lime, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient and cost-effective supply chain operations, managing supplier relationships via people, process and technology. You will develop all operational sourcing strategies and manage the global sourcing services team, suppliers and internal stakeholders to achieve continuity of supplies and services, through promotion of cost-effective resource utilization, establishment of efficient work processes and identification and implementation of Sourcing best practices and technology. You will work to drive continuous performance improvement, staff engagement, and reduced costs. This role will be responsible for identifying operational improvement opportunities, developing and executing improvements in sourcing to drive Best in Class Practice and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) targets. Shares accountability and collaboration with Direct and Indirect Strategic sourcing leadership to accomplish sourcing/supply chain goals, daily activities and projects.

What You’ll Do:

• Operations management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the sourcing operations function by understanding and managing the supply chain, including assessing and mitigating potential risk and capitalizing on opportunities for improvement.

• Purchase Requisition Oversight: Manage a team of associates that will be responsible for the process of creating and approving purchase requisitions, ensuring compliance with company policies, within an established Service Level Agreement (SLA).

• Supplier Due Diligence: Support global supply chain teams to oversee supplier due diligence processes and oversee onboarding processes, ensuring all necessary documentation and compliance checks are completed efficiently and effectively.

• Risk Management: Create policies and processes that support best in class supply chain risk management and compliance creating transparency while mitigating and managing identified risks to favorable outcomes. Support supply chain supplier risk management processes by assisting with supplier quarterly business review reporting.

• Data-Driven Insights: Manage budgets, provide spend analytics and track spending and develop and provide all Strategic Sourcing reporting. Aggregate spend date to identify opportunities for consolidation and cost savings. Identify and implement cost-savings measures throughout the sourcing process. Create metrics reporting in collaboration with supply chain leadership to support metrics/OKR reporting, ESG reporting, etc..

• Process and Technology Improvement: Develop and deploy multi-generational roadmap including process improvement and technology strategies to support Lime’s strategic vision and continuous improvement goals. Stay-up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.

• Cross-Functional Partnerships: Collaborate with senior stakeholders across finance, legal, operations, and other departments to align sourcing strategies with overall business goals.

• Compliance and Governance: Maintain rigorous procurement documentation and compliance standards, ensuring all activities meet internal policies and external regulatory requirements.

• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of sourcing professionals. Provide guidance and support to team members. Develop and implement training programs. Collaborate and work closely with other departments such as finance, operations, legal, logistics, and risk to ensure alignment and meet their needs.

About You:

• Experience: More than 7 years of experience in sourcing and or equivalent work experience in procurement, engineering or supply chain operations with at least 2 years of experience in a managerial role. This role will have at least 6 direct reports globally.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or a related discipline.

• Technology: Proficiency in Sourcing technology solutions and other relevant software (Google Docs, Microsoft Office, Snowflake, Tableau, Jira, Coupa, Oracle)

• Entrepreneurial: Demonstrated ability to work independently to create new capabilities and build a global team aligned to LIme’s strategic vision while meeting the business’s needs. Strong capabilities in dealing with ambiguity.

• Leadership Skills: Experience working with company leadership, managing cross-functional global teams and high-stakes supplier relationships.

• Decisive, Analytical Mindset: Proficiency in data evaluation and the ability to translate insights into actionable procurement strategies and recommendations. Uses data to drive decision making.

• Attention to Detail: Expertise in developing procurement documentation within a regulated environment with precision, creating reporting, managing databases and ensuring compliance to process controls are essential for success in this role.

• Problem-Solver: Ability to anticipate obstacles and develop innovative solutions in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

• Strategic Thinker: Ability to see the big picture and develop strategies that align with long-term business objectives.
