Annual performance bonus, equity and benefits may be provided as part of the compensation package, depending on the position offered. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. Exact salary will ultimately depend on multiple factors, which may include the candidate’s location of residence, the successful candidate's skills, experience and other qualifications. In addition to base salary, some roles may be eligible for a variable performance-bonus based on a combination of company performance, employee performance, and management discretion.

Lime is hiring a Payroll and HR services coordinator for the NA and APAC region to join our People Operations team! In this role you will report to the People Ops Program Manager of NA and APAC. While not directly responsible for processing the payroll, this role will have a strong understanding of payroll practices and act as a bridge between Finance and the People team. You will be the first point of contact to resolve any payroll related questions from employees and HR Business Partners.

What you will do:

  • Act as the primary contact for NA and APAC employee inquiries related to payroll

  • Assist employees in understanding their wages, earnings and deductions

  • Collaborate with HR and Finance to ensure that employees are informed of any adjustments that affect compensation

  • Liaising with our internal payroll global team (located in Malaysia) and external providers to ensure a correct payroll process across the countries; work to resolve any payroll discrepancies and issues

  • Process compensation and bonus changes in Workday to ensure smooth processing and approval for payroll cutoff

  • Ensure approval process is followed for any special payroll requests including manual payroll adjustments and checks

  • Maintains payroll vendor employee set up for new hires and terminations

  • Ensures compliance with various state and federal regulations

  • Drive and support process improvements by identifying inefficiencies, streamlining workflows, and recommending scalable solutions

  • Champion automation initiatives by working cross functionally to reduce manual work, and implement tools that increase payroll accuracy and efficiency

About you:

  • You have 3+ years proven experience as a payroll coordinator or similar role

  • Experience working in an international payroll environment and are familiar with different payroll systems

  • You have good knowledge of legislation relevant to accounting and payroll within the North America and APAC regions

  • Strong communication, interpersonal skills and a customer-focused mindset

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Proven track record of identifying and implementing process improvements and automation

  • Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets, including the ability to manage templates, perform data analysis, and create pivot tables or reports as needed

  • Comfortable using Word or Google Docs for documentation and communication
